About NAHAH

The National Association of Holistic Analytical Hypnotherapists exists to provide training in Analytical Hypnotherapy, safeguard the public and advance Analytical Hypnotherapy practice – a root-cause, insight-oriented approach to creating deep transformation change.

We uphold clear standards for training, ethics, supervision and continuing professional development; we accredit Analytical Hypnotherapists and training providers who meet those standards; and we maintain a verified public directory so people can find competent registered practitioners.

What Makes Analytical Hypnotherapy Different?

Analytical Hypnotherapy works with a structured process to explore the origins of emotional responses and behaviours – then to resolve them permanently.

It is collaborative, ethical, and designed to produce understanding and change at the source rather than applying suggestion alone.

The course was originally written by Mr. John Howard and released in 1994. A psychotherapist by trade, John recognised that using Hypnosis was the key to permanent healing. Creating a process that takes an analysis-first approach to treat the root cause, not just the symptom.
